- According to the Castle Cats developaws, Sundae's fur pattern sprang from multiple inspirations, including the Norwegian Forest cat[2], a domestic breed known for its large size and long thick coat.
- Later however, in the 2022 Ask-The-Devs-Anything, Sundae was said to be a Maine Coon.[3]
