Trivia

Rich is likely a reference to the character Rich Goranski from the musical Be More Chill.
- During the Valentines 2019 Quest, after Rich sets fire to his room, Pipsqueak says, "Rich set a fire and burned down his room", which is similar to the line, "Rich set a fire and he burned down the house," in the musical's song "The Smartphone Hour (Rich Set A Fire)"; the other cats then continue talking about how Rich set the fire, which also happens in the musical.
- Rich's Hero Book entry seems to be a reference to the computer in Goranski's brain that tells him what to do.
  - Rich's line "Super Intelligent Inner Mage - a SIIM" might be referencing a SIM card, a mobile phone component.
Rich might also be a reference to the character Gaston from Disney's movie musical Beauty and the Beast.
- They have similar appearances.
- Rich's line, "If there's a beast around, I'll slay it," could refer to Gaston's determination to kill the Beast.
- Rich's line about no one doing quests like himself covers the song "Gaston", in which the line, "No one [does action] like Gaston," is frequently repeated.
- Rich is also very flirtatious much like Gaston.
