- Gordon's name and some of his lines were probably inspired by famous chef Gordon Ramsay.
- Gordon is Berry's uncle and the financial backer of her chocolate shop.
- Before being introduced as a recruitable hero, Gordon briefly appeared in the Valentines 2018 Quest, catnapped by Romeo after Conan asked him to bring a "meal".
- Fans were later asked if they wanted Gordon to stay on as a member of the guild.[1]
- Gordon is one of three premium event heroes who have only ever been made available for gems released prior to 2020; the other two are Night Queen and Jadis.
- Gordon was not available for purchase in the Valentines Event 2019 as the developaws "decided to... not clutter the event store too much."[2]
