- Edna was named after a real-life black and orange cat who was adopted by San Francisco Fire Department Station 49 as a source of stress relief, until she had to be relocated.[1][2]
- Edna was featured in the Summer Event 2020 Quest, in which she leads the efforts to put out wildfires raging in Catania and teaches the guild about fire safety.
- Edna is a participant in Ember, Catania's version of the dating app Tinder that has appeared in the game during Valentine Events since 2021; her profile reads as follows: To all the guys messaging me: Stop. I'm only here to see how everything works and what risks my guild mates are taking. Current Security Assesment[sic]: Kind of okay.
- Edna is referred to as a calico cat[3], although that is a color pattern rather than a breed; moreover, her coat pattern is actually tortoiseshell, rather than calico, due to its lack of white.
