- Dory is a combat sports enthusiast, as evidenced in part by much of her dialog.
- Dory loves Muay Thai, commonly known as Thai boxing.[2]
- Her line, "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee...", is a quote by famous boxer Muhammad Ali.
- Dory is a Ragdoll[1], a breed characterized by a silky coat with point coloration and blue eyes.
