Daily rewards are offered from the Daily Reward window, which appears when launching the game for the first time after the daily reset at midnight (00:00) local time. If the game is already running at midnight, the reward can be claimed instead from the Daily Reward tab of the Daily Events window, accessed via the scroll icon in the upper right corner of the guild hall screen.
Rewards vary as a player advances, and begin to cycle through mostly fixed sets at about Day 100. They include gems, gold and embers as well as 13 Daily Reward heroes, or "calendar cats", in the first 365 days of play. Daily rewards progress based on the days a player launches the game at least once; rewards are not missed or reset on days the game is not launched. That is, the reward schedule will pick up where it left off no matter how long a player has been away from the game.
Following is a list of the daily rewards players will receive on each day they play.
The contents of the mystery boxes are limited to fixed amounts of gems, embers and coins, although gems are only seen in early days of play. At some point the box contents begin rotating through the following: 10,000 coins, 7 blue rare embers, 7 red rare embers, and 7 green rare embers.
Trivia[]
In the early days of Castle Cats, daily rewards were released in batches, sometimes ending with the release of a new calendar cat, as follows:
Batch 1, introduced in March, 2017, for Days 1–28, ending with Megara
Batch 2, introduced in April, 2017, for Days 29–56, ending with Bloom
Batch 3, introduced in May, 2017, for Days 57–84, ending with Selene
Batch 4, introduced in June, 2017, for Days 85–112, ending with Copper
Batch 5, introduced in July, 2017, for Days 113–200, ending with Lois
Batch 6, introduced before December, 2017, for Days 201–280, no new heroes were included in this batch
Batch 7, introduced in March, 2018, for Days 281–364, again with no new cats
Batch 8, introduced in August, 2018, for Day 365, the legendary hero Celestia
In some early versions of the game, the calendar window displayed the names of some reward cats incorrectly: Beans was shown as Teacup, Copper's name was missing, and Lois was named Lynx.
