Call of Heroes 2021 was a full Castle Cats event added in version 2.18. It started on April 19, received a mid-event update on May 13, and ran through June 12.

The event introduced five new heroes: Callum, Lucious and DJ Retr-0, who can be purchased with real money; and two cats who could be crafted in Alchemy. It also featured the return of all 10 previous Call of Heroes cats.

New guild leader customization options were available in the Event Shop, as were two new and five returning hero outfits. Previous Call of Heroes items were available in the prize pool of the Event Box.

Plushies[]

Note: Plushies can only be unlocked in guilds that have reached level 50.
The event introduced a Super Sweeper mini-game, a Minesweeper clone accessed by tapping the bomb icon in the lower left of the guild hall screen. The "How to play" button provided instructions. Players got five lives a day and could get three additional lives by watching an ad as often as desired. Four plushies could be earned by winning and losing the mini-game in various ways, as described below.

Event Box[]

The event box was shown in the final tab of the Event Shop window. It could be purchased for 50,000 coins every 2 days or for 60 gems otherwise at any time. Players got a free box at the start of the event as well. For each box purchase, a player received one of the nine prizes shown in the window, chosen at random. The prize pool, which was automatically refreshed every day at midnight local time, could also be reset by watching an ad, and then for successively higher gem prices starting at 5 gems.

The overall prize pool for the event box included the following:

Event Badges[]

Players could earn up to nine event badges by acquiring new event content and completing event quests. Prizes were awarded for obtaining 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 badges. Progress was tracked and prizes could be claimed in the Event Badges window accessed by tapping the red cape icon in the bottom left of the guild hall screen.

Requirements[]

Note: Real-money purchases were required to earn the Recruiter badge, which is fitting given that the reward for earning all badges, a 14-day VIP ticket, is useful only to players who have made at least $10 in real-money purchases.
