Call of Heroes 2021 was a full Castle Cats event added in version 2.18. It started on April 19, received a mid-event update on May 13, and ran through June 12.
The event introduced five new heroes: Callum, Lucious and DJ Retr-0, who can be purchased with real money; and two cats who could be crafted in Alchemy. It also featured the return of all 10 previous Call of Heroes cats.
New guild leader customization options were available in the Event Shop, as were two new and five returning hero outfits. Previous Call of Heroes items were available in the prize pool of the Event Box.

Event Materials[]
While the event was live, rewards for event-specific, normal and battle quests at quest level 4 and above included red hero capes, radioactive spiders, and chemical jars, Call of Heroes event materials that could be used to craft hero eggs and plushies and acquire new guild leader items. These materials could also be purchased as microtransactions in the Event Shop.

The quest selection screen included a materials boost button offering the option to watch an ad and get double event materials from quest rewards for 30 minutes. These boosts lasted for the duration of the event and replaced the ad boost option.

Players got a free box at the start of the event as well. For each box purchase, a player received one of the nine prizes shown in the window, chosen at random. The overall prize pool for the event box included the following:

Event Badges[]
Players could earn up to nine event badges by acquiring new event content and completing event quests. Prizes were awarded for obtaining 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 badges. Progress was tracked and prizes could be claimed in the Event Badges window accessed by tapping the red cape icon in the bottom left of the guild hall screen.
